With just 3 weeks, I was tasked with leading the design, development, and branding for Fashion Week in Chicago
OVERVIEW
Most major cities around the globe have their own fashion week which is government supported, most notably New York, Paris, and Milan. However, not Chicago. I was brought on to help establish Chicago as a fashion capital for its first official fashion week.
The timeline of putting the entire show together was just under two months, and my role as designer with under a month timeline was to create logos + design and develop the website.
With a limited timeline, my aim was to establish a look and feel that would be on par with fashion week’s around the globe. I wanted people to say that looks professional, that Chicago could be a ‘player’ within the fashion scene. With a longer timeline, we’d have room to play around with something truly unique.
I kept the color scheme simple with black and white and used Vogue font for the logos.
